The first boys and girls’ cross country meet was held Friday 8/28 in 85* weather at Rohr Park.  10 out of 11 of our runners medaled and all runners surpassed their goal times.

Freshman Chloe Phillippi lead our girls team placing 24th in 16:34 for the 2mile course, she was followed close behind by Sophomore Shelby Jennings and Frosh Luna Rockway.  Both our JV boys Lucas Hulbert and Al Yamada ran PR’s and medaled.

Our varsity boys team really showed up to race!  Lead by Senior Dom Herrara placing 7th overall, packed closely behind him in 18,19, 24 and 25 ( Jonah Holt, Ethan Kahan, Quinn Mc Laughlin and Sawyer Baffico) the boys team took Second place overall behind Palo Verde.
