CAPTAINS GO 3-1 AT STEVE PAL TOURNAMENT; FINDING THEIR RHYTHM IN THE FINAL STRETCH OF THE SEASON

RESULTS

UNIVERSITY (IRVINE) 12 – CLAIREMONT 11

CLAIREMONT 22 – VALLEY VIEW 7

CLAIREMONT 12 – MT. CARMEL 7

CLAIREMONT 17 – AGOURA 9

The Captains looked sharp in Anaheim over the weekend, winning 3 out of 4 games in dominant fashion.  Clairemont outscored their opponents 19-6 in the first quarter of their three wins, demonstrating the focus and determination this team has right now.  The only loss came off a wild cacophony of circumstances due to Interstate 5 getting shut down as the team was in transit to Esperanza High School, leading to half the team and coach Joey arriving after the game started and those that did arrive in time had little to no warm up.  All in all, the water polo boys are playing their best ball at the right time heading into the final two weeks of the regular season.

UP NEXT

The Clairemont Boys Water Polo team improves to 14-11 on the season, eclipsing the win totals of the last two seasons.  Up next the boys have a big match up on Wednesday night against Francis Parker.  The game will be at Parker at 6pm.  Come out and support your CAPTAINS!!
