Girls Volleyball had an incredible end to the regular season with wins against Canyon Hills on Tuesday, October 20th at home! The Freshman team lost their first set but came back to win the second set 25-23.  Then in the third set they turned up the serving and stayed strong on defense to win 15-6.  The Junior Varsity team won their first set, but then dropped the second set.  In the third set, things went back and forth between the two teams.  JV battled hard and took the set 18-16 to win the match!  It was Senior Night for the Varsity team so before the match we honored our four seniors:  Jayliana Cade, Althea Rell-Limosnero, Lola Friend and Molly Mullen.  This match was also important because a win meant the Lady Captains would have finished league play undefeated.  The team played great and won it in 3!  We are LEAGUE CHAMPIONS and only gave up 2 sets in 8 matches!  We will be headed to playoffs next week so stay tuned for the schedule!
